WHAT MAKES TRU-KRILL BETTER THAN FISH OIL?

Antarctic Krill contains more EPA than fish oil (240 mg/g EPA in krill vs.180 mg/g in regular fish oil). Unlike fish oils, TRU-KRILL carries omega-3s (EPA and DHA)  in the form of phospholipids – liposomes or little packages that deliver the fatty acids directly into your pet body’s cells which they can 'immediately' used. The EPA and DHA in fish oil, on the other hand, are typically packaged as triglycerides and have to undergo additional processing in order to make them bioavailable which requires more amount of EPA and DHA. Krill optimizes the Omega 3-Omega-6 ratio to make sure that it's perfectly balanced. Our Tru Krill contains 80mg of concentrated Antarctic Krill oil per soft chew which is a superior source of EPA and DHA.
Scientific evidence to date has shown that the safest and most effective carriers of EPA and DHA are these phospholipids. Unfortunately, standard fish oils lack this phospholipid complex. Instead, they contain omega-3 fatty acids in the less-beneficial form of free triglycerides.
